Question decaying dentures?

My father just lost a bottom tooth on his dentures. When he showed me his tooth it was all brown and looked decayed. Then he took out his bottom dentures and between the teeth and bottom of the teeth it was all brown. Is this normal? Does this happen often that teeth fall out of the dentures? Looking for answers. Thanks!

Hi

Dentures can wear and break over time. It is important that it is cleaned twice a day to avoid any staining.
