Default confidentiality


Please can any of you dentists tell me are you like medical doctors in that you have to take an oath of confidentiality? To what extent are you allowed to talk about a patients treatment or their charachter? Do you have more freedom than a medical doctor? Or is dental in the same ball park.

i think its the same rules for patient confidentiality for dentists and doctors but not 100% sure im sure one of our official dentists members will chime in soon enough.

Yes, the confidentiality rules are the same for doctors and dentists.
