Default Implants need realigning

I had my implants fitted in 1998, when I was 14, following a car accident that knocked out the two front teeth to left.

Over time, the crowns have moved further up and are no longer level with my other teeth (my front right tooth was also damaged, so was built up with a composite).

A recent x-ray shows there has been bone loss around the implant, and another bone graft seems likely.

Will this require me to wear a denture again? It was bad enough at 14 but at 25 it would be disastrous.

Thank you

Hi

It is very difficult to answer without carrying out a clinical and radiographic examaination. If it requires a small amount of grafting, then it may be possible to avoid a denture. Each case is different.
