dental implants for lower jaw with a full denture or bridge

please help!! Want to have full lower jaw implants - but need some reassurance. I have psoriatic arthritis and am a bit concerned that this might affect any implant I may have. I had my teeth extracted 30 years ago.
Have seen a consultant about this and he gave two options - either lower over-denture or 4 implants and 8 unit acrylic to metal bridge. Apart from the variation in cost - what would be the best solution.

generally most people prefer a fixed option i.e. all on 4 type solution but if you are already wearing a denture a dental implant retained solution will also be a significant improvement
