had a fixed brace 9yrs ago but teeth have moved since.would another fixed brace work?

hi

i had a fixed brace when i was 14 (9 years ago) but now i have a gap in-between my two front teeth and my bottom ones are crowded (i guess because my wisdom's have came through since?)

i want the gap closed in the top teeth and the bottom teeth straightened.what could i have done to fix this?would i have to have fixed braces or could something else be done?the issues with the top teeth are different with the bottom so would i need different treatment for the top and bottom?
