thin veneers

Hi, I would love some advice on this...
In your experience and opinions as cosmetic dentists , how do you think it looks to have perhaps just the front four or even 2 teeth veneered? My teeth are in line as ive had bracework, however there are a couple of things im thinking of improving with veneers, however i would like, if possible, to have just the front four done. My teeth are white and the back ones are positioned well.
Im wondering if you have undertaken similar cases to this, and can the veneers match and blend in well with the remaining natural teeth? i have a real fear of looking "horsey" if the veneers stood out, or if they looked bulky. Ideally I would like thin ones that are placed well by an experienced and credible dentist to enhance what ive already got. I am of the understanding that it would cost on the region of 700 per tooth, is this correct?

Have as many placed as it takes for you to achieve the results you want. Whether that is 2,4 8 or 10. A dentist who understands cosmetics will be able to tell you exactly how many. I've seen a patient who was told she needed 10 veneers but actually only needed one. Each case is different and we do what is required to achieve the result.

You should be able to have a diagnostic preview of your new smile before anything is ever done to your teeth. Making thin veneers is up to the skill of the dentist and technician. Thin veneers are advertised at 0.3mm thick, with my technician we have placed veneers less than 0.2mm thick. Colour matching is again not a problem as long as the dentist and technician know the principles to achieve it.

£700 per tooth minimum I'd say. The best technicians come at a premium but its worth it for the natural result they provide

My utmost concern is a natural result and I realise this isnt going to come cheap.
Can i just ask, how long could i expect the veneers to last before replacing them? Do yours come with any guarantee? It would be awful if one came off!
Re: 700 minimum, what do you think i would realistically expect to pay to get the results i describe?
And finally (sorry-questions, questions!) how long interest free do you think i could spread the payment over? I could put about 1000 down.

Veneers on average last 10-15 years cosmetically, although function wise they can last longer. This is of course assuming they are done well. Depending on complexity of treatment, you should be looking at about £700-£1000 per tooth. This fee can go up if the wok required is very complicated. Most practices offer interest free over 12 months and some practices do interest bearing up to 5 years. I give a 3 year guarantee against the veneers coming off or fracturing. This is of course void if you get into an accident.

If your teeth are in good alignment you are potentially a good candidate for veneers. Too many people have veneers done where braces are more appropriate. This can massively reduce the prognosis of the veneers. Its best to do things slow and right than fast and wrong
