I'm sure on my recent visit the dentist informed me that the veneers would be made in the US and is the reason why it would take 2/3 weeks.
I've definately noted whilst watching extreme makeover that the veneers/crowns would be crafted in a lab in Calfornia. What's wrong with UK labs ? Doesn't seem a particular green way of conducting business ! |

Hi
dentists do use UK labs as well. It just depends on the dentist's preference. Veneers, crowns and other restorations are all results of a good team approach between dentist and technician. The choice of labs depends on the relationship of the dentist with the technician and on the cases being carried out. Different labs will excel in different fields. We use a mixture of UK and US based labs as well. Even if the veneers were made in the UK, it would still usually take 2/3 weeks for them to be processed. Kind Regards Raha
