Crown Problem
I recently had a crown done on my left front tooth after a bike accident, the nerve didnt die. The crown that was put on was porcelain fused to metal which at the time i thought was the only option i had, anyway i then started having extra pain in the same tooth so i had a route canal done through the new crown. Not happy with the look of the crown with the metal having an opaque effect through the porcelain i proceeded to ask the dentist for my money back, also still feeling pain in the tooth after the route canal. I decided to go and see a specialist and nothing was found so i then decided to go to another dentist to get everything redone. The route canal was redone with a post and i had a new ceramic crown put on. After several visits they failed to get the colour right. The main problem was that you could see the dead tooth through the crown which as slight as it was it was not matching the colour of my other front tooth. So no matter how good the match was before the crwon was put on, the colour was deadened by the dead tooth. Is there something else that can be done or is that the best you can do with a dead tooth underneath?
