Hi Leon, it could very well be that you need a combination of treatment including braces and veneers. Its really difficult to say more without a full consultation. With regards to how strong veneers are, the answer is extremely. When done correctly they actually reinforce the strength of your natural teeth.

As Dr Solanki mentioned, 10-15 years is the average cosmetic lifespan of veneers although I have seen veneers in place which look superb after 20+ years of function.

It is very important that you find a reputable dentist to do them well. The last thing you want is to have a mediocre result. A good friend of mine is a ceramic specialist and does most of my smile makeover cases and he is the only person I would have construct my own veneers

Again, Dr Solanki is correct in his price range. And most high end practices offer interest free options to help make the investment more comfortable
