The Omron sonic style 458 has 5 different speed settings to enable you to have control over your brushing and really target those hard to reach areas. The various different cleaning modes enable you to concentrate on each individual area of the teeth and gums, and aids in the prevention of plaque and gum disease.
The device disperses plaque by gently lifting it off the teeth and uses three different swing modes – standard swing, point swing and wide swing mode – to achieve this. Each mode operates differently to give you a thorough cleaning experience; the standard swing mode operates at 25,000 strokes per minute; the wide swing enables you to reach below the gum line and in the gaps between teeth; and the point swing is vertically positioned to enable you to effectively clean the back, inner sides and front of the teeth.
