Biography for DR NICK FAHEY

Nick Fahey is co-owner of Woodborough House Dental Practice and divides his time between Harley Street Dental Studio and Woodborough House Referral Practice Pangbourne. He is a General Dental Council Registered Specialist in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics.   

Nick trained as a dental surgeon for 5 years in his home New Zealand and then studied for a further five years at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute for Oral Health Sciences, University College London, where he obtained the M.Clin.Dent degree in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics.
Nick is a principal UK prosthodontist and has completed many eminent qualifications, including:

Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of England.
Membership in Restorative Dentistry for the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.

He is one of the few General Dental Council Registered Specialists in the United Kingdom in fixed and removable prosthodontics. His areas of expertise and interest include all aspects of dental implant dentistry, aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery and fixed and removable prosthodontics.

He has recently developed his involvement in computer-guided navigation for the placement of dental implants using C.T. scans combined with virtual implant placement for extreme precision in the placement of implants.

Dr Fahey as a specialist prosthodontist has also gained a huge amount of experience in all aspects of complex dental rehabilitation and multi-disciplinary treatment especially treatment involving collaboration with other leading practitioner and other specialists. 

Nick also lectures on dental implantology and prosthodontics and holds membership for both the International Team for Implantology and the Association of Dental Implantology. He was one of the founding members of the New Zealand Dental Society of London and has presided over the London Dental Study Club. He also has recently become a member of the Reading Branch of the BDA.
