Would veneers be the best option to correct my two front teeth?

Q.
Hi
I have two crooked teeth at the front of my mouth and I am getting married in a year and would really like this to be fixed before then. Would veneers be the best thing to get? I was told a few years ago by a dentist that I didn’t need braces and would never need them, at this time my teeth were already starting to go crooked at the front. It is very noticeable in photographs and makes me quite worried what my wedding pictures will be like. What is the best thing to do?
Thanks
A.
Dear enquirer,
Firstly, many congratulations on your upcoming wedding! The good news is that you are thinking well ahead and you have time to get your teeth just right with all the options open to you. I see many brides to be from week to week and sometimes we are working within very short deadlines in order to fit with the required dates and this can restrict the treatment options available.
You have two options for treatment, one is braces which, depending on how crooked your teeth are, may be suitable and the second is to have veneers placed. Both options produce excellent results, but you will need a thorough assessment to work out the exact treatment plan for you.
We treat many brides and grooms to be at Sparkle Dental and one thing I will say is that your smile will last you for many years after your big day, so do explore all your options and go for it. If you are in the London area then do come and see me for an initial assessment and I can point you in the right direction.
All the best,
Sunita
