would like to know how dentures are fixed to stay in place if only needed for top back teeth..

Q. Due to pronlonged use of inhaler and oral steriods to control chronic asthma, my teeth have become week at the back and have cracked, often bits coming off when eating. I also had to go through a surgical menopause which again can influence my general health. I am happy to have the teeth pulled as feel implants may not be a good idea if my bone structure if weakened so would like to know how dentures are fixed to stay in place if only needed for top back teeth.. if they are attached to my front teeth would this pull and damage these too?

A. This is very difficult to answer with the info you’ve given me. You should seek advice from a dentist experienced in implantology
