Would I be able to qualify for NHS dental treatment having type 2 diabetes?
Q. hi dr Moore.i was just wondering i have diabetes type 2 and my teeth are not in a good state.i have one good wisdom tooth left but nw i might need to have it pulled as it is hurting but then i wont be able to eat.i somtimes nearly choke as i have no eating teeth.im not working at the moment due to ill health so would i qualify for anything from n.h.s. im really worried plzzz help.thnx,
A. I think its very important for you to see a dental hygienist on a regular basis and to consider replacing the lost teeth perhaps with a denture
