You should be able to make a cosmetic choice if you are paying. However it would be common to opt for a veneer rather than a crown as it is less destructive to the underlying tooth.

hi, can i get a gold tooth on my front tooth canine on the left side? i had gone to my dentist they said not on the nhs but can if paid private. can you tell me why it can not be on nhs and why only if paid privately? thanx
Probably because it’s an elective procedure and not deemed ‘necessary’ to maintain your dental health, which is what our “National Health Service” is meant to provide
