Would having braces effect my profile?
Q. I have somewhat of an overbite and my upper teeth are slightly bent inwards, I was wondering if I get braces, will there be a change in my profile? my nose and chin? and will it be very noticeable?,
A. There will always be a change of profile but it sounds like this might be a beneficial effect in your case. The profile is often made worse when sticking out teeth are pull back radically if the teeth are pushed forward it usually improves the profile.
