Would braces be suitable for me?

Q. Dear Dr.Caplan, I am hoping you can give me some advice. About 8 years ago I had my teeth straighted, and about 2 years ago I had the fixed wire on the back of my teeth at the top removed, as I have a tight bite and it was rubbing off the fixture. Unfortunately my teeth have started to move again, and I am not sure how to fix it. I think it is one tooth at the back pushing the others but I’m not sure. Do I have to get the wire at the back fitted again, or are there any other options? I would appreciate any advice you could give me. Thanks very much, and best regards,,
A. If your teeth are unstable I would advise a permanent retainer once your teeth have been moved back into position
