Will there be change in the bite after having a crown?

Q. Two days ago i got a crown to one of my front teeth the reason for getting it done was beacause my old tooth was sticking out more than the other front one it looks alot better now its just sits tight in front of the to teeth behind. the promblem is it feels alot different and when i bite my bottom tooth just hits the back of the cronwn. do u think it just a case of getting used to the difference and bite i am in no pain and do like the look. thanks

A. The bite needs adjustment – I am sure your dentist would like to know if you are having any problems
