Will my crowns be affected if i get my teeth whitened?

Q. I am thinking about getting my teeth whitened. I have two crowns. Will they come up the same shade as the rest of my teeth. Thanks

A. Your crowns will not be affected by the bleach and you may well need them replaced following the bleaching treatment
