Will I be given braces for my diastema after I have surgery?
Q. Hi, recently I visited my dentist and he informed me I have a class 3 bite (My lower jaw sticks out), He said it’s advisable that I undergo surgery, I also suffer from Diastema, I was wondering if once I do undergo surgery will I also be given braces for the diastema aswell?,
A. Once the surgery has been performed the braces are usually fitted. I would speak to your surgeon who is performing the surgery for more accurate advise.
