Will bone grafting last and what option should I look at implant or bridges

Q. I need to have my front four teeth pulled I have lost bone over the years due to periondonal diease. I am looking at dental implants vs perm bridge? I have had a consultation regarding the dental implants and it was determined they would need to do a bone graph to build the bone back up. My quuestion is – will this last? What is your opinion on both procedures? Thanks

A. A bridge would mean drilling down 2-4 teeth which when it fails usually means the bridge has to be extended even more, sometimes this isn’t possible. i would recommend implants if possible to avoid the need to drill down teeth and to stimulate the bone to avoid loosing even more bone at the front of your mouth
