Why Do My Teeth Seem to Have Moved Forward?

Hi, I’ve recently noticed that my bottom front teeth appear to have moved forward, protruding a little bit and the inside of my mouth seems different. I’m 52, is this common? If so, why? And can it be fixed? I’ve never had a Hollywood smile and I’d like to have something done. Can anything be done and why is it happening? I have a small lower jaw. The top and bottom wisdom teeth on the left side were removed 26 years ago.

Hello, thank you for getting in touch. It sounds like normal drift of the teeth, although it will need checking in case there is an underlying problem with the bone. If the bone is OK, then you could consider a quick brace treatment to realign the teeth. Kind regards, Andrew.
