Why do I experience toothaches even after having teeth filled?
Q. Why do I experience toothaches even after having teeth filled? (fillings were done about 6 weeks ago, cavities were quite large) I feel pain while eating or drinking hot or cold food/beverages. I would be grateful for your advice. Thank you.
A. This is normal with deep fillings however if it is longer than 2-3 weeks it may indicate that you need to see you dentist again, perhaps for a root canal treatment
