Which Brace Type Would You Recommend? Invisalign Or The British Version C-Thru?

Q.
Hi Andrew. Which is the recommended procedure? Invisalign or the British alternative c-thru? What are the advantages and disadvantages of both? My teeth are not very badly distorted and both have been recommended. The c-thru is supposed to be cheaper slightly but does that affect the end result? What procedure is more efficient and easier to maintain long term and how would this be achieved in both cases? Could you tell me what procedure you would recommend personally? I am a 40 year old female.
Thank you and regards.
A.
Hello and thank you for your enquiry. I don’t really know about c-thru braces as I haven’t used them but I have experienced Invisalign as both a dentist and a patient and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I hope that helps you. If your still uncertain I’d suggest that you do a little more research on each type of brace system. This website has further information on the various braces available. Kind regards, Dr Andrew Moore.
