When the titanium post is placed during an implant is the post placed in a root canal?
Q. When titanium post is placed during implant is the post placed in a root canal? If so, does the canal have to be filled or does it close over after extraction of tooth? How long is the normal adult root canal? Thank you,
A. No the implant is placed in the bone, the tooth and its root canal is removed.
