When my tooth was removed the roots had been left behind, how will this impact on me in the future?
Q.
I had a tooth removed but it broke while in the removal process. The roots have been left behind as the dentist could not get them out. Parts of the tooth are still sitting in my gum. How is this going to impact on me in the future. Risks? Possible bad repercussions?

A.
if the roots are deeply buried then they shouldn’t pose a problem, if they are more superficial then there is a chance they could become infected. If that happens the roots could be removed.
