when I was a child I was hit with a cricket bat my front tooth has discoloured

Q. I had an accident when I was a child I was hit with a cricket bat into my mouth, this resulted in my front tooth over the years discolouring, my dentist years ago said that the nerve would eventually die. I am now very self conscious of this discolouration. What kind of treatment could I expect to make me smile again.

A. hello,
i treated a pt in a similar situation not long ago.
if the teeth are dieing you will need root canal treatment and then crowns.
if you wish to be minimal and the teeth are still alive you can try bleachng but this is unlikely to get perfection.
we ended up doing the former.
