When I open my mouth my teeth stick out can I have veneers

Q. when i close my mouth my profile is fine but when i open i have outward teeth more like touching my lower lips.so i can veneer fix this becoz i dont want braces

A. The first treatment of choice is definitely braces. There are a number of very aesthetic brace options such as invisalign and Inman aligners that you may not be aware of. Treatment can be completed in relatively short time - as little as 1 month in some cases with Inman Aligners.

Veneers are also a possibility but will require a large amount of tooth removal if your teeth are in a poor position. his tooth reduction could mean that some of your teeth may need root canal treatment as the nerves of the teeth may become damaged. Having said that I have successfully treated cases like yours using veneers - usually when a wedding is looming and a new smile is required immediately! So far I have not had to nerve treat these patients but you need to be aware of the extra treatment that may be involved.
