What would it cost to have teeth removed and to get dentures?

Q. hello there. I desperately need some help and advice. I have had a fear of dentists for the last 30 years (im now 40)as a result, I have not visited a dentist for that amount of time but plucked up the courage last year as my whole top set of teeth are rotten. The dentist i visited admitted my teeth would need removing but i dont know where i can find the money. My husband earns over the limit for working tax credits and because i am a full time nursing student, the tax credit service have taken my bursary into account making us not eligble for help even though with full rent, council tax, car finance and 4 children to feed we are struggling. I no longer smile, i try not to leave the house because im so embarrased an have even considered leaving my course because im finding it difficult to try and talk without opening my mouth due to the embarrassment my teeth are causing me. I am completely at the end of my tether with it all and my confidence has hit rock bottom. Please could you advise the cost of having all of my top teeth removed as none are salvedgable and dentures made. I just want to be normal again. Also, how would i go about making an appointment with a hospital dentist if needed? Many thanks for your time as I appreciate that you are busy.,
A. Hi I am sorry to hear about yout circumstances The options you have 1. to have the dentures on the NHS. Of course you may have to be aware this will be a basic set of dentures, but it would be better then nothing. Option of being referred by your NHS dentist to a teaching hospital. I hope this helps and good luck.
