What Would Be The Best Approach To Make Between Inman Aligner And Six Month Smiles?

Q.
Hi Dr Hughes,
I am a 27 year old student. My front lower teeth are not straight and also gapped. I would like to enquire on the best approach between the 6 month smile and the Inman aligner to take.
Also, I will not be in the country for about 10 weeks. If I do get the braces can they be fit for that long without visiting the orthodontist? Also, which facilities offer good and affordable service? I would really appreciate your response.
Please advise me. Thank you.
A.
Hi and thanks for your questions.

I’m afraid I have more questions for you in order to be able to answer some of yours. The Inman aligner only moves 4 teeth and will only close certain types of gaps, so I’d need to see your situation to know if it was a possibility. Do you live in the UK, if so where? Sometimes it’s okay not to see the orthodontist for 10 weeks but that would depend on the appliance used and the nature of the dental issues.

Why not send me a photo via here? http://www.invisiblebracesgroup.co.uk/upload.html This would allow me to make a more accurate assessment of your case.  Kind regards, Mark.
