Q. I had a route canel and crown in 1989 on my front right tooth.in july08 i had this redone (route canel and crown cost 1400) due to discolourment the crown has come out. there is nothing to hold it in as the nerve in tooth has been killed I have been advised to have a bridge or implant. would like to know why this happened and what you would suggest and some estimated figures please. Thank you.

A. I am unable to comment on why this has happened as their can be many reasons. If your tooth is unrestorable the best treatment for a missing tooth is an implant provided there is enough bone to support it.
