What will happen if i do not replace my crown

Q. A crown fell off a tooth that had a root canal. What will happen if I don’t replace the crown. The tooth has no pain.

A. hi many thanks for your enquiry. the tooth can break down if the crown is not replaced also this jeopardises the seal of the root canal which can then in turn cause a reinfection in the tooth, my advice would be to book to see your dentist to have the crown replaced. hope this is helpful.
