What Treatments are Best for Enamel Damage?

Q.
Hi Dr Hughes. I’m quite sick and have suffered with bulimia on and off for the past year, being sick every few months.
My teeth feel strong and are still white, but I’m aware of enamel damage that can occur among other problems.
If my teeth are damaged, what treatment is available in cosmetic dentistry? And what is the price guide for treatments offered to patients like this?

Any advice would be so appreciated as I am starting to worry. Best wishes and thank you in advance.

Hi, thank you for your question. You need to drink lots of water when you are sick, this will be good for all of your body in keeping you hydrated, but it is good for your teeth too. Crowns or veneers are possible options but difficult to say without seeing you. Go to see your dentist and find out more about these treatments, they will be able to give you a good estimate regarding the price.Regards, Mark.
