What treatment should I have to reaplce old dental crowns?

Q. I have had four crowns on my front teeth for approximately seven years, which are now very yellow, particularly noticeable in photos. What treatment would you advice,
A. Thanks for your question, if you are unhappy with the colour of your crowns, I would recommend that you discuss the possibility of replacing the crowns. If you are also unhappy with the shade of your natural teeth, you may wish to consider a whitening treatment as well. If you decide to have teeth whitening, I would advise that you have this done prior to replacing the crowns, as this will then allow the dentist to have the crowns made to match the shade of your whitened teeth.
