What treatment is available for my wife, who has a ‘twisted root?’

My wife has noticed a small bump n the side of the upper back tooth gum area.She had bridge work done there some time ago.She is not feeling pain.Our dentist noticed a ‘twisted root’ and suggests we see a consultant, my wife is over 50 and has had a perforated ear drum on that sideof the jaw. What treatment is available and how much will it cost?,
A. It sounds like she has some infection in that tooth and would require a root canl filling. I would advise she see’s a specialist Endontist for a consultation.
