What treatment can I get to fix overbite?

Q. I have an overbite and have done since i was young. I am now 21. I’ve been to dentists and they havent been able to help me saying if i have braces my teeth will fall out etc…to be honest i think its aload of rubbish. It affects my confidence and i would just like my teeth to meet my bottom ones. Its probably about a 2cm overbite. What are my options?,
A. If it really is 2cm you might need surgery to correct it. If it is less than 1cm then braces should work, seek advice from a specialist Orthodontist they should be able to help you.
