What treatment can help to fix underbite?

Q. I have an underbite and my teeth dip back in the front i have always hated this can this be fixed,
A. It sounds as though you have what we call a class 3 occlusion. This can be difficult to rectify unless you have jaw surgery to correct it. There are treatments available thta can create the illusion of better aligned teeth, but this will just be masking the initial problem. I advise thta you see you dentist to see what options are available to you.

Hi. I’m 22 years old from Sheffield, England. I have an underbite that I would like to have corrected. It was an option that was outlined to me as a child, but one which my parents turned down, however, I’d now like to have the treatment done. As I’m over 18, would there still be a way of having jaw surgery via the NHS? Thanks.

Hi I have been told that I will need to have jaw surgery as my bottom jaw is too prominent. I will most probably need braces, which I wanted to avoid, but I am sure that this is probably not possible. Have you had much experience with this procedure? would you be able to offer advice on this? Regards
