What Should I Do About My Impacted Tooth?
Q.
Ive a horizontally impacted tooth (48) with dilaceration of the root. I dont want to get it extracted. Im myself studying to be a dentist in Bangalore,India. This has caused mild lower crowding as well as increased midline diastema ( i have diastema since long time, as well as lateral spacing) the lower crowding has caused an increase in the midline diastema. My question is, is there any way by which i dont have to get my tooth impacted and not have orthodontic treatment either? I like the amount of gaps between the teeth that ive presently. I dont want to reduce it nor i want it to increase. I dont have any pain or infection what so ever. All my wisdom teeth are impacted. Ive an opg image but dont know how to attach it to this question. Kindly help me 🙂

I would keep the wisdom tooth under review and take an opg every 2 years.
Ps impacted wisdom teeth don’t cause crowding
