What Procedure is Best for Shortening Teeth?

Q.
Hi. The size of my front two teeth are a bit big and I want to shorten them to have a better smile. Can you give me suggestions about what cosmetic surgery I should go for? I feel the front teeth are a bit outwards too. I don’t know the terms to explain but in simple terms I’ve got big front teeth and I have small lips so when I smile I don’t look quite good. I am 30 years old. How much will it cost, and how long will it last? Thanks.

Hi, thank you for your question. Options would include:

Do nothing,  reshape or ‘re-contour’ your tooth, bonding, veneers, orthodontics, or crowns.  My advice is to go and see a very experienced cosmetic dentist with a wealth of case studies showing their work. Best wishes,  Mark.
