What options does my son have to replace knocked out teeth?

Q. my son recently had his two front teeth knocked out playing rugby when someone decided to knee him in the face while he was lying on the ground. as a nineteen year old he wants some sort of replacement asap. the receptionist informed him that a plate would be in his best interest as he could then remove it before each game. he is devastated as he thought they might fit a bridge. please advise,
A. There are other alternatives such as bridges or dental Implants available to him, It is vital he gets a good fitting sportsguard made to fit his teeth after the procedure and he must wear it all times when playing sports.
