Q.  i have been diagniosed today with facial neuralgia this was because my trigeminal nerve was damaged during a root canal. i was wondering could you tell me the recovery time on this please? 

A. hi many thanks for your email, the root canal treatment is usually not such a invasive procedure that it will have severed your nerve so the nerve will just be bruised more than likely.

my advice is to monitor the problem it should get better week on week and have full resolution in around 3 months time.
