Q. Hi Here’s my situation i was playing football and in a freak accident i went up for a header and the opposition knocked half of my central incisor and three quarters of my lateral incisor. I want to go private on the the insurance but they’ll only accomodate 200 pounds. Will the nhs crown be shaped and correct to my own teeth, and also what would the difference be between the nhs and private. I will look forward to your reply. Thanks
A. Its always worth paying extra for a private crown for cosmetic work but £200 won’t be enough. I would get a crown made on the NHS for now then consider a private crown in the future.
