What is the difference between a veneer and a crown?

Q.
Hi There Dr,

I wanted to ask you, What is the difference between veneers and veneers? and which 1 is more beneficial?

Im very inconfident about my smile, even though, I dont have bad teeth or smile(Alhamdulillah), but the thought of having veneers or lumineers placed and giving me that perfect smile I want would be my dream come true.
The other question was, If i wanted to have this done? could I spread the cost over a period of time or is it a ‘one of payment’

Id appreciate a reple soon

Thankyou,

Take care,

A.
I assume you mean the difference between a veneer and a crown.
A veneer is all porcelain and sits on the outer surface of a tooth that shows when you smile. It does not need as much preparation of the tooth compared to a crown, which can be made of porcelain, fold , a combination of porcelain and metal and wraps all the way round a tooth.
Some dentists do allow you to pay over time.
