What is the cost of replacing all my teeth with false teeth

Q. I have not been to a dentist for the last 20 years as I had a very bad experience as a child and have been afraid to go back since. I know that my teeth are in a very bad condition. I was wondering whether I would be able to have all my teeth removed and have false teeth to replace them all and if so then how much would this cost?

A. You will regret the day you have your teeth taken out and have dentures. Apart from the  negetive psycological and social effects that dentures can cause, loosing your teeth can also cause loss of facial support, premature aging of the lower half of the face. Dentures can also be difficult to keep in. Due to the fact that the denture would cover the palate you won’t be able to taste your food properly either. If you are fortunate enough to be able to affod to have implants then extraction of your teeth isn’t so drastic however it is always best to keep your own teeth for as long as possible. If you haven’t been to the dentist for the last 20 years you may have gum disease and so loosing some of your teeth may be inevitable but if some teeth can be saved it is better to hang to them. There are many dentists that work well with nervous patients and if you go for a few consulataions you may find one that can save your teeth and that you feel comfortable with.
Definately explore all options. I’m sorry I couldn’t be mnore supportive about your decisin
Kind Regards
