What Is The Best Toothpaste And Mouthwash To Use For Sensitive Teeth?

Q.
Hello Dr Hughes, I have 3 or 4 teeth on the bottom front that are not straight and two are being pushed out a little. I also have a little tartar build up on the back front teeth. Someone told me if I wore a retainer it would help straighten them out, is this true? What will the dentist do about my problem? What is the best toothpaste and mouthwash to use for sensitive teeth? It is crazy because in my family for some reason teeth are not very strong. I floss and brush and I seem to still have some problem here and there. Thank you for your time.

Hi. You could have some orthodontics to straighten your teeth. Seek out a consultation and examination for advice. If you have sensitivity, use some of the products by Sensodyne or Colgate Pro Sensitive.

It also sounds like you need some general dental care and hygienist treatment so please go and have someone examine you and I advise you as soon as you can to avoid any problems getting worse. Oral health traits often follow hereditary patterns. Regards, Mark.
