What is the best option for my husband’s weak teeth?

Q.
My fiance has very weak teeth. He is only 32 and now has to have a plate for one of his front teeth that had been capped but the tooth continued to rot underneath. He has good oral hygiene and does not want to end up with false teeth. Is there anything that you can recommend? We have considered veneers but I am concerned the tooth will continue to decay underneath which will ultimately require extraction anyway. Is there perhaps an alternative? We are getting married in December and would love to have this resolved.

Kind regards

A.
Depending on budget, gum health etc one option that might answer the problem is dental implants as the metal does not decay like natural teeth, however they are not resistant to periodontal (gum) disease.
about £2,000 per tooth or less if bridges are used.
