what is the alternative to orthodontal braces

Q. Hello, I just wanted to ask other than orthodontal braces what other procedures can be done to straighten teeth. My teeth at the bottom small and seem overcrowded so I was wondering if i would need teeth taken out. thanks

A. The only alternative to brace treatment is to have veneers placed on your teeth. The teeth need to be shaved down slightly to make space for the porcelain. It is not a reversible treatment. You would need to go to a cosmetic consultation to find out how many you would need.

Braces can be placed without having teth removed but you need to go to an orthodontist to find out for sure
