what do i do to prevent staining on my bonding

Q. Dear Rob, I’ve recently had some bonding placed on my front teeth to cover chips and I’m very happy with the result and I want to take the best care possible of them. Aside from drinks that will stain them such as coffee and red wine, what other food and drinks should I moderate to stop the bonding discolouring or degrading? Is there a specific toothpaste that I should be using?

A. My usual answer is to avoid anything that would worry you if it spilled onto a cream carpet / favourite clothing.
Ever popular Curries and some Chinese foods often have added colour or just the turmeric used as a spice ingredient. red fruit juices / cordials and fruit teas.

All toothpastes are whitening some of the more expensive ones had boosted stain removers. I would stick top one of the big brands that you like the taste of and use a top of the market electric or sonic toothbrush. They are very good at polishing.
