What can be done about a veneer that is slightly discoloured and misshapen?

Q.
Hi Dr,

I broke my front tooth last year and had a veneer fitted. I feel a bit disappointed in it’s appearance as it seems slightly off colour and the tooth seems wider than it should be, it also seems to not be shaped as the one next to it. My teeth were absolutely perfect before and I’m so upset that I broke it and now I feel that I will never look the same or do not want my photo being taken as I now hate my smile. Everyone says it looks ok, but it just doesn’t look right to me. What do you think I should do? Can my veneer be reshaped? This is causing me a lot of upset. Thank you for your time.

A.
The best thing to do is to go back to the Dentist that fitted the veneer. If that is not possible than book an appointment for a consultation with any Cosmetic Dentist.
