What brace is best for treating an overbite?

Q.
Ive been a thumb sucker since birth and am now 25 and have a overbite and struggle to naturally close my mouth just feels uncomfortable. my face has changed slightly luckely my appearance isnt bad as some i have seen i was wondering if an avisalign would do me any good to help my jaw relax so i dint have to hold my mouth shut and be always aware not to relax my jaw as its not a good look. im not sure if fixed braces would be better for me or not? i have a phobia of dentist so less invasive is best but im willing to what needs to be done your advice would be very usefull and how much would these procedures cost?
A.
Both procedures may be possible but it’s not possible for me to give you an accurate answer without first seeing you and examining your situation in person. Costs for orthodontic treatmetn can range from £1500 up to £10000 and even more sometimes if any sugical intervention is also needed.

Your exploration should start with a consultation with a good orthodontist or dentist very experienced in orthodontic procedures
